Wantable Box – September 2024

I love it when a Wantable box shows up on my doorstep! The company graciously sent me this box with the styling fee waived and even allowed me to keep some of the items. As usual, all my opinions are honest…because when it comes down to it, we’re all about color here. I’m not going to recommend something that’s not in our palette! Even if I did recommend some crazy color, all of you have eyes. Haha!

Wantable has several different boxes to choose from, and I’ve always just tried the “Style” edit. But this time, I decided to try a “Back to School” edit with pieces that are comfy/casual and perfect for someone who’s on the go. Let’s get into the box!

This plaid flannel is made of soft autumn dreams. The olive green and tan colors are perfect for our palette, and the fabric is wonderfully soft. I loved this top and chose to keep it. I’ll get a lot of wear out of it this fall!

This lightweight flutter-sleeve top is a superb soft autumn navy. The heathered nature of the material lends itself perfectly to creating a muted, soft appearance of this color. Navy can be quite dark and hard to work with, but this one is just right. Well done, Wantable!

A beautiful taupe! This color is amazing for us soft autumns, and this knit sweater was one of my favorites from the box. Unfortunately, they sent me the wrong size. It was out of stock in my correct size, so I couldn’t get an exchange. I ended up returning it, and Wantable even gave me a $5 credit for the mixup! Their customer service is 10/10.

The crowning jewel of the box was this puffer vest. Look at that color! I don’t have anything even remotely close to this in my closet, and I fell in love immediately. You can be guaranteed that I knew I would be keeping this even before I tried it on. For a “back to school” outfit, this vest is spot on!

A cardigan in a dusty teal color! Again, this is a color I didn’t have in my closet. Lightweight, comfortable, and a knockout color. What more do you need?

An olive green blazer is a staple ingredient in the soft autumn wardrobe. Do I have one? No. This one fit the bill nicely! I loved the sleeves – they’re scrunched up, so you have the look of long sleeves with the cool, laid back feel of having them pushed up (and never falling down!). Do I have an olive green blazer now? Yes.

The last item to share is these girlfriend chinos in a gray-blue color. Of all the items in this box, these were the most borderline in color. They definitely lean on the cooler side of the color spectrum, but I find this to be a very versatile color – even for the soft autumn palette. This isn’t a color I’d wear right up next to my face, but it works great as a bottom color.

My stylist did a fantastic job picking items that work for our soft autumn palette! Before placing the order, I was very specific about which colors I did and didn’t want, and I even explained a little bit about what “soft autumn” means. The more information you give, the better the stylist can pinpoint items for you.
