I recently had another opportunity to try a Stitch Fix box. It had been a while since I had tried the service and thought it would be fun to see how it compares to my recent Wantable boxes. Stitch Fix charges a $20 styling fee for you to receive five items prepared for you by a professional stylist. As usual, I was very specific about the colors I didn’t want (black, gray, white, anything bold or bright) and the colors I DID want (terracotta, olive green, mauve, soft rust, etc.). Let’s see how they did!
First up was this blouse, and it was absolutely perfect! I posted a couple weeks ago about dressing for the summer season, and this shirt is a great example of summer colors for our palette. The blush, cream, and blue floral pattern was made of soft, muted tones, and I loved this one!
Is there such thing as too much rust? This tank was gorgeous. The embroidering around the neckline added to the “natural” feel of the shirt, and the fabric had a nice linen feel to it. Another home run!
This blouse was definitely within our palette with the cream, rust, and olive colors. There was a feminine lace detail near the shoulders. This blouse wasn’t my personal favorite as far as style goes, but still a great soft autumn choice.
These olive green pants were the perfect color. This neutral green would match with just about everything in my soft autumn closet. They fit perfectly and were extremely comfortable. *chef’s kiss*
And finally was this awesome dress. The rust, olive, and cream in this beautiful floral pattern are perfect! It is possible that if you’re on the lighter side of our palette, this color may be too bold or warm for you. But my darker eyes and hair allow me to pull off these slightly warmer colors, and this dress was no exception!
This is my second box from Stitch Fix, and I’d say they did a great job finding new pieces for me that match our palette. I highly recommend the service. If you’d like to try a Stitch Fix box for free, you can use my referral link: Try Stitch Fix
