Here are some great soft autumn finds I recently tried on from Gap.
There were some great pieces in this try-on! I won’t go into detail about every item, but here are a few quick thoughts:
- This spruce green long sleeve tee is a GREAT soft autumn color. The hint of blue gives just the right amount of pop to make the color interesting and flattering.
- This skirt is everything for this fall! It’s a versatile chocolate brown and matches just about any color you want to pair with it.
- A nutmeg brown sweater vest is a great staple for fall. Nice enough to wear by itself but can be layered over OR under other pieces. The color is so pretty as well!
- A great button up ribbed polo tank in another great soft autumn green. Runs a bit tight.
- This color is to die for! Imagine red, orange, pink, and brown had a baby…it would be THIS color. This tee has a very permanent place in my closet now. The material is thick enough to be more than your average tee, yet light enough to be tolerable in the heat.
- This purple is definitely a borrow from the soft summer palette. I shamelessly wear it and love it on me. However, each one of us can pull off slightly different colors, and this one may not be for everyone.
- This dress is so beautiful! A knit top with a silky skirt in a ballerina style…so feminine! This is a deeper color that may suit dark autumns better, but I thought the color looked fantastic. So we’ll call it an “in-betweener” color here!
- Our only dud of the order! I couldn’t tell online what color the flowers were in this pattern – I was thinking they were possibly brown. But turns out they are black and gray. The style of the top is cute, but the colors are off.
