Faherty is a brand that I’ve seen many influencers rave about, but I’ve never tried them myself. Their clothing is definitely an investment since the prices are pretty steep. I waited around for a sale and decided to pull the trigger on an order. Here’s what I got:

I also put together a whole list of great items for our palette from Faherty which you can see here: Faherty Soft Autumn Collection
Every one of these items was top notch quality. Faherty certainly costs more than your average retailer, but they deliver on their quality and uniqueness of products. I did find their clothing to run slightly large. Here are my thoughts on each piece:
- Striped tan sweater: This sweater is amazing. It’s a chunky knit, non-scratchy, heavyweight sweater. The quarter zip and collar make it unique, and I can imagine this one will last for years both in style and quality. I sized down to XS.
- Jean skirt: I’d heard a lot of great things about Faherty’s denim, so I decided to try a denim skirt rather than a pair of jeans. This skirt was perfect. The material has a very slight stretch to it and has enough weight to make it lay flat but not too heavy for it to be stiff. I also love that the slit in the front is at a modest level. I ordered this in a size 6, and the fit wasn’t for my body shape. The hips fit fine, but there was a lot of gapping at the waist that made me think sizing down to a size 4 wouldn’t solve the problem. The skirt is a great item, but I ended up passing on this one due to fit.
- The floral dress: This dress was even better in person that online! I was concerned that the colors wouldn’t be as muted in person, but they are perfect! The dress is a linen-blend, and it is so lightweight and flowy without being scratchy. It comes with a belt if you want a cinched look, but the dress is able to be worn without a belt for a more natural, carefree look. This was a total winner! I opted for size XS, but I’d recommend sticking to your true size if you are busty.
- The pink sweater: This sweater is a fun color! The material is a soft fleece, and the stripes on the arm are even a light pink color rather than white. I really liked this sweater and plan to get a lot of use out of it this winter. I decided to go for a loose fit on this one and got a size Small. I could have gotten away with XS just fine, but I’m happy with the slightly baggy fit of the Small.
- The striped button-up: I was SO hoping this shirt would be the right colors, but alas, no. They’re so close that I was tempted to keep it anyway, but I’m strictly sticking to our palette right now. Imagine the colors of rainbow sherbet, and those are the colors in this shirt. So fun and gorgeous, but I think they’re just a little bright for our palette. I’ve got it linked above just in case you want to take a walk on the wild side. I went with a Small and liked the fit…this is one I wouldn’t recommend sizing down in.
I loved the dress so much, I took a couple photos of it styled differently. One more casual with the belt tied around the back, and the second more formal with the belt tied around my waist.
