I recently tried Coldwater Creek for the first time. I’d seen their ads all over the internet for months and saw so many items in beautiful soft autumn colors. Their stuff is on the pricier side, so I had my eye on a few pieces and saved up. Overall, I was very pleased with the quality of the clothing, the shipping speed, and the ease of returns. Let’s take a look at what I bought!
This dress was the whole reason I made this purchase. It had been sold out online for quite a while, and when I saw that it had come back in stock, I pounced on it! Unfortunately, this dress runs large…as in HUGE! I am wearing a size 4 here, and it felt like I was swimming in it. The colors are wonderful, the material is lightweight and flowy, the bodice is lined, but it was just way too big for me to keep it. I had toyed with the idea of getting it tailored, but considering it was over $100 already, I didn’t want to put more money into it. So back it goes.
This suede-feel tee is gorgeous! It is lightweight with the slightest amount of stretch and is the perfect soft autumn brown. I went with an XS. Due to the cut of the shirt, it pulls a little across my chest, so I decided to return this one. They make a midi skirt in this exact color/material that I really want to try now.
I’ve been looking for good neutral sweater tee, and this one fits all the criteria:
- Sleeveless or cap sleeves
- Not see-through (I have on a black bra!)
- Not skin tight
I will get A LOT of mileage out of this shirt on its own (probably paired with brighter colored skirts or pants) or under cardigans in the cooler months! I’m wearing an XS.
And the crowning jewel of the bunch! I threw this jacket into the order at the last minute because I wanted to get a good sampling of their products. I don’t have an outerwear option in a nice light brown color like this, so I thought, “Why not try it out?”. I ordered this jacket 100% expecting to be returning it, but as soon as I put it on, I knew there was no way this one would be going back! It fits like a dream. The material is a medium weight with some stretch. The sleeves are the right length, and the waist even cinches in just a tad to give some shape. This will certainly be my new go-to outerwear piece once cooler weather sets in. Can’t wait! I’m wearing an XS.
I’m impressed and will be ordering again sometime in the future. Coldwater Creek uses Happy Returns, and I love that! This way, I will get a refund the exact moment I turn the items in rather than waiting for everything to ship back plus the processing time. I’m keeping an eye on some other items on their site and will be saving up in the meantime!
